Are there any books with a black female main character where the storyline isn’t really about being black or facing oppression? Essentially diversity without diversity being the point.

The Belles by something Clayton. Writing isn’t great by the plot and works building is cool. There is diversity but it’s not really the main point of the story, just a feature. It’s a society where beauty is most important & the just beautiful is a black girl but obvi other top beauties are all kinds of races.

I’m open to a lot but I generally enjoy reading sci fi, fantasy, romance, adventure
