I also relate to Lucy Gray but for different reasons. I was some guy’s ’manic pixie dream girl’, some men want a unique woman as a trophy, but hate when they are actually unique or when they have to treat you like a person.

Yeah, I think some people just see a girlfriend/boyfriend/partner as an accessory and not as a person. Not only men do this ofc, but it feels like it happens to women more often. Men forget their girlfriends/wives have interests, feelings, and lives of their own.
