The 1954 film adaptation has been shown to children in classrooms for decades. The story does a pretty good job of presenting the dangers of Marxism in a fairly PG setting

Yes, I love that version. Because it’s ok to put in a classroom but they’re releasing the new one that is meant for like 3rd graders and is horribly and completely unlike the actual book. Because 3rd graders won’t understand it
