The second trilogy is still great and fun (and sad), but not as complex. Stormlight is wayy better (also coming from someone who liked mistborn). It’s my favorite series of his. A lot of the standalones are great too, elantris gets a lot of hate but is my favorite (and will get more books), tress and warbreaker are fun, and sunlit man and Emberdark are more serious/complex. A lot of people like yumi too but I personally think it’s the weakest, still good, just not my favorite

It’s great!! I finished the trilogy a little bit ago, but I actually finished The Way of Kings as my first Sanderson book lol, but it’s definitely my favorite so far! Warbreaker was also a unique and fun one

Yesssss!! Era two of mistborn has a lot more connections to the other books, so you might want to read those first. Warbreaker is a great start before the behemoth that is stormlight archive
