Where do you stop when you’re done reading? Just curious lol, my friend and I were reading and about to leave. She got up when she finished her chapter and seemed amazed that I didn’t wait and finish mine, I just stick the bookmark wherever I stop

If I have time to finish a chapter, I try to. But not all books are equal and some chapters are insanely long lol. I do try to stop where it makes sense to break tho. (I’ve met people who stop mid paragraph which is crazy to me haha)

If I’m close to finishing the chapter and have the time I’ll finish it. If not I close at the end of the paragraph.

I have to finish the chapter or else I’ll go through the day thinking about what will happen next and I’ll make scenarios up in my head then I kinda get disappointed when what I made up doesn’t happen

That would be me haha, I’ll even stop in the middle of a sentence 😅 I could be reading the same book for hours and just suddenly feel like doing something else or the action is over and I’m just getting bored reading dialogue at that moment. I don’t really notice chapter breaks when I’m reading tho tbh, I feel like theyre designed to make you not want to stop there, if I stop wherever, theres less a chance of me “one last chaptering” it and staying up all night and making bad decisions
