Not 1 star, but I did decrease a book’s rating because because the main character found some kittens and somehow spontaneously brought them home to America when they were too young for rabies vaccines or any other complex, proper documentation and that made me mad

So many pop culture references in the opening chapter that if I was drinking for each one I came across, I would be dead. The book also sucked overall. But it was the references that really pushed me toward a 1 ⭐️
