Deception by Lee Nichols. I read it in middle school. Rereading it, and it’s cracking me up how people would write teenage girls in the 2000’s there are just so many references to pop culture at the time. I’m also wondering why I read this at my middle school library

i could only remember like three hyper specific tiny details and nothing else from one i read in fifth grade and i kept bringing it up and my best friend secretly emailed the library of congress and they found it for me 😭💕
