The only one here who is an actual rapist is Neil gaiman I think he needs to be a bit higher on the list 😭🙏

I know I’ll be downvoted to death - but how many here are truly problematic vs. have a different opinion than you?

Made an insensitive post about the passing of a black woman, promoting her book in the same post. Also has a family member in the IDF

Total jerk who wrote a book about a man who kidnaps, r*pes, and tortures his girlfriend for cheating on him. And the man gets away with it and is painted in a sympathetic light. What’s worse is that he listed it as “revenge fiction.” People dismiss it saying is “extreme horror,” but that is such a crappy justification. Genre isn’t a justification for such fiction, especially when it includes r*pists walking away with no consequences. Several other works feature gross violence towards women too.

Thank you. I’ve been having some people tell me I love Colleen Hoover since I hate his works. Honestly, horror is fine. But no matter what genre. We shouldn’t show the r*pist getting away with it.

If you want other authors to avoid because they romanticize rape or let it go consequence-free, here are some of the ones I know of: Rina Kent, Miranda Grant, Tori Woods, C. S. Pacat, Francine Rivers, and SenLin Yu

Sorry. I wasn’t thinking of prioritizing who was the worst while writing this list. I wasn’t thinking straight. I was rage writing 😭

The people I listed are misogynistic, z*onist, transphobic, and one is a r*pist (yes Gaiman).

Rebecca Yaros condemned the Hamas Attack a second after it happened, and defended the decision to not ban books in Israel. What a crime! If only people would know how many Israelis are NOT their government. Sheesh.
