Should I get a kindle? 😅 I’m in college though so I don’t have as much time to read, but maybe good for reading before bed not not staring at my phone?

Depends how much you’d use it I’d say and how much the screen matters to you. From what I’ve heard the kindle screens are better for your eyes and don’t glare, but if you don’t use it all that much an app works the exact same way. I have a couple ebooks that I’ve read on my iPad and you can turn on night mode to reduce blue light before bed

Atp just start borrowing real books from the library, it’s better for your eyes and it’s cheaper than a kindle

I’ve had one since I was like nine and I absolutely love it. I literally don’t leave my dorm without it. I love physical books, don’t get me wrong, but my kindle is just so convenient. It’s much more portable especially with textbooks in my bag and I can read when it’s dark too. I also use Libby so I don’t actually pay for any of the books on my kindle. It’s definitely an investment but it lasts for years and I think it’s super worth it if you love reading

If money is the problem there is Project Gutenberg which has a bunch of free e-books (a ton of classics too, some of which you may not be able to find at a library). You can always turn the brightness down on whatever you use and it is super easy to navigate.

Even more reason to borrow books from the library? It’s literally free, all you need is ur ncard…

Thanks! Yeah as a college student the prices on some of the kindles are not so friendly. I think what got me is that they are convenient and portable. Maybe another time

Totally understand this. My college library doesn’t have as many fiction books (or the typically books you read for enjoyment) but yes, cheaper!

Maybe look into public libraries nearby then, you can probably just get a library card and use those
