Unpopular opinion, but I didn’t like it 🫣 I tried, even attempted the second book hoping it got better, and dnfed. But a lot of people love it! Definitely one to try for yourself and see if you vibe with it. Despite some mature themes/graphics, it read very ya to me, which I just wasn’t looking for at the time, and the pacing was off. It started off stronger, but lost me with the writing and the poorly fleshed out magic system/lack of character development
