It’s definitely overhyped and overrated

It was a weird combination. The style and pace decided to completely change from one half of the book to another, she’d randomly find out a word existed, use it incessantly for like a hundred pages then never again, and although it had mature and adult themes, it read like a ya book with the plot and dialogue which took me out of it a bunch of times 🫣 (I really did try to like it tho)
