radiator not working and the ‘feels like’ temp is 16°F. landlord can’t send someone to help until tomorrow. i feel like richard papen during his winter in the warehouse.
You can sue. You are legally within your right to ask for them to pay for other accommodations. They are legally required to provide a safe living space which includes heat during cold periods and cooking when it’s hot.

My apartment got down to 40F before they finally fixed it. I was in there for 3 days and close to having to leave unless I wanted to die

You should have sued them. That’s illegal for them to not provide other accommodations.

if it were longer than a day i might but im ok rn idk. my mentality of ‘people have it worse’ has gotten me through a surprising amount of scenarios.
