I agree with this and yet I think where a lot of conflict arises when it comes to political discussions in this community is when someone makes a political comment unnecessarily. Not everyone is comfortable talking about politics so unless the posts calls for that kind of discussion there’s no reason to start it.

I mean if they’re uncomfortable with discussing it no one is making them do so. They can just keep scrolling and go on with life.
