I have SO much going on this summer I feel like a reading goal’s gonna burn me out & I’m just gonna skim through them to say I read it/ so im trying to figure out a reward system for myself that simply tracks how many books I read but also celebrates???

Why set a reading goal at all? If you force yourself to read it becomes a chore, read when you have time and enjoy the books for what they are!

Sounds like we need to bring back those coupons for a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut

i like on Fable that you can track what days you’ve read so that can feel like little accomplishments even if you didn’t finish the book yet

I stopped focusing so much on number of books read for this reason but I still make goals sometimes like to read more non-fiction books

as a kid, if you read a certain number of books you would get free ticket to our local amusement park (it’s like Six Flags)
