i use super random flat items i find around the house whether it’s a piece of ribbon, yarn, a photo or if i’m reading a hard cover i just use the book cover as the bookmark

i can’t do more than one book at a time, so I use a metal bookmark that my mom got me that says “A well-read woman is a dangerous creature” and I feel like I can’t read a book without it.

Bookmarks, dust jacket, dandom pieces of paper or flat objects, and depending on how permenant I want the bookmark to be, I am notorious for losing my phone or the tv remote because I used them as a bookmark

I love when I buy the book and it comes with a free bookmark, but failing that, I use the dust jacket to mark my place (if it’s a hardcover) and failing that I start grabbing receipts and junk mail envelopes. One time I used a pack of pimple patches
