most romantasy is actually unbearable to read unless you have one hand on your crotch. also why are you equating porn with romantasy 💀

romantasy is unironically called porn/smut by a lot of haters so idk why you’d want to play into that, but you do you

It’s really not that serious or complicated to understand. When you’re jokingly embracing the term, like OP, it’s absolutely not the same as the assholes who call smut readers porn addicts. Similar to queer folks referring to themselves as d*kes etc in an affectionate way versus bigots using those words as slurs. There is a difference in tone. If you can’t tell, maybe don’t comment on it. But OP’s post is obviously a lighthearted joke and you’re the one making it an issue.

And the fact that you’re calling romantasy unbearable makes me think you’re one of the outsiders who use these terms negatively. So really you have 0 right to comment on a joke when you’re the type who treats the genre in a derogatory manner. Get lost. This was a funny post and you’re gross.

I said most romantasy, I'm a big fan of certain works. not an outsider. and just like how many queer people are deeply uncomfortable with "reclaimed" terms, I'm deeply uncomfortable with calling romantasy "porn." it's not that serious, I just have a different view.

also I'm not responding to this anymore so that OP can enjoy her reading w/o constant notifications. I hope you'll respect that. enjoy your day ✌️

Your discomfort does not dictate others lives or right to engage with their community however they like.
