Ok how are y’all pronouncing rf kuangs Babel? I was watching a jeopardy ep from the other night and Ken rhymed it with “fable”. Am I the only one who doesn’t pronounce it like that??😅

I believe it’s in reference to the Tower of Babel so “Ba-bl”

I haven’t actually read it so there may be a pronunciation guide in the text that I’m unaware of, but I recommend a lot of books to people and am aware of its popularity so it definitely comes up in conversation. Just wondering if I’ve been telling people wrong this whole time lol

I’ve heard it pronounced like fable and also like babble.

Ahh ok, I feel better now. I’m not really familiar with religious texts so I hadn’t heard of that before. Glad it doesn’t rhyme with fable, that sounds wrong to me lol

Oops I deleted my second comment because I made a typo and forgot to press post on my edited one. I said “actually, I guess it depends on how you interpret the noise a sheep makes. Is it ba like ‘baaahhh’ or ba like ‘beaahhh’”
