You might just be on the wrong side of tiktok. I don’t personally have it, but I feel like Instagram is mostly just reposted TikTok’s and I get sooo many good recs from there

I recommend you check out the Orc Sworn series by Finley Fenn! I know orc romance might seem far-out, but it's some of the best smut i've ever read, as well as just keeping you hooked. It's definitely dark romance, and some of the books were a little too much for me, but there were others I really enjoyed!!

I want a good dark romance book but all these books either have the mmc that acts like the FMC is a nuance or it has rape/ SA and people sit there defending the fmcs actions

Ah yeah I see the problem now. I pretty much exclusively read epic fantasy so I’m on a completely different side altogether 😅Maybe spend some time on posts about ones you know you like and your algorithm will get the memo?
