It’s not stupid to stop watching something if it is making you uncomfortable or upset, it’s a pretty common response.

I wouldn't say stupid. There are some versions of Frankenstein that aren't as gory, some are. Maybe she went into it thinking she could handle it then decided not to. That's okay.
