I’ve read 10 books in four days. Thank god my library has Libby or else this would be an expensive hobby

It doesn’t take me long to read! I can’t read 1000 page book in less than 9 hours and write a report on the entire plot lol I’m almost finished with a four book series I started yesterday! I have 100pgs left in the last book

Yeah I honestly need help lol. Have to do it for a 300 level history class (I’m a freshman). Haven’t done any of the readings I might be cooked.

Also funny enough I had to read a book in HS (The Possessed by Dostoevsky). Basically read 60 pages per hour (ten pages every 10 minutes). Only skimming through it really.

Oh wow. Honestly not super hard if you can reframe your mind to enjoy it. Sometimes if I don’t like a book but need to finish it, I read it in the mind frame of “what would I critique this chapter on?” To be able to re-focus into it even if I don’t like it per say

This is actually very helpful. I will definitely try to incorporate that tactic next time (my in-class writing assignment is today so the best I can do is get a few details unfortunately). Nevertheless thank you so much! 🙏
