Agreed. If doing read alouds for children is fine why can’t I have an audiobook read a story aloud to me as an adult? Stories were originally passed on orally, reading and writing is the new technology if you think about it

Fr since when did it become wrong to enjoy a book however you’d like? You’re supporting the author, plus what about reading while driving?? What about reading while on a walk?? What about when it’s harder to get a copy of the book than the audiobook??
