honestly othello is the best of both worlds bc there’s themes about revenge as well as the racism themes so it could be a kind of double discourse !

Def teach both if you can swing it. I feel like they could go both ways. Hamlet is more “fun” in some regards with Othello on the serious side, so I could see Othello being for honors. Or do Hamlet for honors and talk about the skourge etc.

I read it in IB English so def could see it for honors too. Hamlet is a villain in his own right despite being the MC, and sometimes that’s not easy to accept. Also idk why I always type scourge “skourge” and my phone does not correct me 😭
