yea i think instead of labeling a book with your personal opinions (“stupid book” “it’s horrible”) it should just be “I didn’t like it bc..”

You’re absolutely right, but I still feel the other way round is a larger issue. Someone saying a book is bad is an opinion that someone else can easily agree or disagree with by reading the book for themselves. What really bothers me are the mobs of people who attack people’s character for not liking a popular book or accusing them of just ‘trying to be different.’ People just need to care less about what others read in general and drop their superiority complexes. It’s not just online either
