Personally, I struggle with this too. I always make sure I read at least a little bit before bed. Phone goes away after putting on brown noise and the book is in my hands and open and I’m off to the races

I try to set myself up with the comfiest place possible, make a hot drink like hot chocolate, get a small snack, lots of pillows, and put my phone on the other side of the room. I pretend I’m one a character in a book who adores reading or is studying for their magical exam

I have a reading corner in my room where I have my bookcase. Making it comfy with a chair and blanket and snacks makes it a really nice place to read.

What I do is just listen to the audio version. I have a fiio k7 DAC and a sennheiser 660S2 that makes any audio crisp as if you are on stage. Good for movies, music, and even podcasts. Best value for your bucks versus other setups that cost far more. Any music has more life when you can hear sounds you never heard of.
