This reminds me of when I was in hs, I wouldn’t count my books for English Lit as books I was reading/have read… idk why I did that but I changed my outlook on it lol

ya so like class assignments were mainly chapter readings for us lol not full novels

In mine we did full novels. I think from 9th-12th grade I read about 20-30 novels for school

This was my experience as well. We had AR in like 3rd/4th grade where you get points and rewards for reading so I think I got to like 60 “I survived..” books in there
