I recently started the BOT series, I got to the second book….is it not weird to read about anything between them that’s further than kissing? They’re minors, I don’t want to read about their sex lives, it feels icky

It’s very weird. There’s a lot of sex and not so great things in that series tbh and the author doesn’t get criticized enough for it

They defend it by saying she was a victim as well but I myself am too, I would never dream of writing explicit CSA and abuse like that. ESPECIALLY marketing it in the Ya category. I don’t care, it’s vile.

Boys of Tomen. I finished the first book, it’s not that bad, secondhand embarrassment at times, but bearable. If the story excluded the sexual stuff it’d be an amazing series.
