Pretty much most fantasy books have a romance aspect, even ones you would consider “Good Fantasy”. ASOIAF, The Realm of Elderlings, etc. all have a romance side plot. It’s just part of the worldbuilding and character growth sometimes

Elatsoe has an aro ace protagonist and that’s a breath of fresh air fr and the goblin emperor gets so so so close to none it’s hardly even a blimp

iirc im pretty sure the first book in the false prince series doesn’t really have any romance ? not that i remember at least lol

Hmm that might be difficult, I only read fantasy, not romance or “romantasy” but all the books I’ve read lately have had a little bit. Maybe Kings of the Wyld? Or the Lies of Locke Lamora is my personal favorite, there is a love interest whos named but not present in the first book, nothing romancy happens until later in the series and it can be read as a standalone
