Respectfully, this sounds generic. The only part that’s interesting is “signing his own death warrant the day he swore to protect her.”

I feel like this could be great depending on the details, character tropes/developments etc, can’t say enough from this blurb alone

I think the only way I can judge is for you to talk more about the actual plot of the story. This seems like pretty much everything I’d learn in the first chapter or two

i would read it but i wouldn’t be ecstatic because it is slightly basic

If I picked it up in a bookstore with this as the blurb on the back (and with some good cover art), I would seriously consider buying it. Or at least putting it on my book list to buy later
