Im pretty sure in the official twilight guide it’s said that bc it’s like old blood it doesn’t have the same effect as fresh blood? Like Edward knows it’s happening but it doesn’t make him ravenous bc it’s not oxygenated

#1 is correct. But also period blood isn’t just blood. It’s uterine lining as well so doubtful they’d want to eat that since they can’t consume and process solids.
