Um no. You shouldn’t judge someone for enjoying or more so relating to that book because you have no idea about the trauma they went through and they could relate to the themes within the book. It’s one thing to dislike an author but the reader own interpretation shouldn’t be bashed because of your own beliefs.
It’s part of a bigger theme you can’t relate too. Sexual violence is often romanticized and it shouldn’t be. but it’s a very realistic thing that happens and reading books as the sort can let people who is experienced this feel that they’re not alone. You may not like it so just don’t read it, but to judge somebody else, not knowing their trauma isn’t it.
