Aeneid, odyssey, Paradiso, Purgatorio, Inferno, and Hesiod for mythology/ classics. Baudrillard, Martha Nussbaum, Albert Camus, Virilio, Kroker, Stiegler, and McLuhan for modern philosophy/Psychology. Ain’t I a woman, Sister outside, Women, Race & Class, and Combahee River Collective Statement for black diaspora/feminism.

What kind of black diaspora are you thinking? Like are you thinking of any specific locations or any specific ethnicities/national identities beyond black?

Absolutely, I think most people think of Greek or Roman myths but I found it super interesting to learn some I hadn’t heard a lot about! If you’re looking for Celtic/irish mythology there is the Irish pagan school online and they have a list of genuine Irish authors and direct translations that I’ve read a few from and I’ve read a book called Irish myths and legend that I found at b&n (but I can’t find the author on the book?) and for Norse I’ve read Neil Gaiman’s Norse mythology
