
I’m not big into sci fi and still enjoyed it, it’s more sci-fantasy. And I know you shouldn’t have to suffer through a whole book waiting for a story to get good, but this series is honestly the exception. The first book reads pretty ya and honestly isn’t that compelling, but the second and third are 5 stars easy. I’m scared to read the rest of them as I’ve heard mixed reviews, but the first trilogy feels complete by itself. Definitely worth a shot
