Does anyone else get annoyed when you go to look at the back of a book and there’s no mention of what the plot is, just praise and talking about how amazing the author is? Like gimme a summary and let me decide that then!

Tbf thats usually just formatting, you can almost always find a summary on the jacket or elsewhere. But it does piss me off tho, if I want reviews I’ll go look for them, the back should be where the summary is lmao

Yeah I don’t mind it if the summary is on the inner flap but recently I looked at a few books where there was no summary at all and that’s mainly what I’m referring to, ig some publishers are just weird like that

Yeah there was no blurb or anything, the whole back of the book was just glazing the best author you’ve never heard of
