Pango/mercari are great because you can see the exact book you’re getting, but shipping can sometimes kill. Thriftbooks is good and the shipping is cheaper, but you don’t know the exact book other than a general condition and it’s a gamble. Same with bookoutlet, which also has an unpredictable stock since it’s pretty much entirely remainders. I have used all of them multiple times tho and generally am happy with my purchases

thrift stores sometimes have great finds! half price books books a million have great sale sections local used bookstores also, not ethically great (bc it’s amazon) but if you’re in a pinch you can go on amazon and get used books
