Would you be up for an audiobook of sorts? I haven’t read anything for a few months either, but I’ve been listening to a graphic audio series of some books I read a while ago and I’ve been loving it

Take a break and enjoy something else. Follow your motivations, not your goals. It's like trying to remember something, you need to just let loose and it will come back

Have you been letting yourself enjoy other things? Or constantly thinking "oh I need to read" because if it feels like a chore you won't want to do it

I enjoy doom scrolling but I have no other hobbies other than reading

Yeah that's not really a hobby... go be creative. You are full of media, you need a way to express it so you can consume more.

Any ideas on how to do that? I used to write but I’m not very good at it

It doesn't matter if you are good, it matters that you can express yourself. Writing, drawing, videos, any way to be creative

I recommend trying audio dramas or short stories. Might be a little niche but Big Finish does more than just Doctor Who, and I find that they always help me get out of a reading slump. A nice collection of 1 - 4 45 min stories. Then I find myself wanting longer and longer stories until I’m back at full books again.

I’m so embarrassed I didn’t think of this!! I have a bunch of books on audible that I’ve never read before
