I love it when full grown adults review a series for like tweens on good reads and give it 2 stars. Like gee I can’t imagine why you wouldn’t have found reading about two teenage twins saving the world immersive, Mark from Accounting

Just because books are written for teens or even children doesn’t mean we should give them a pass for sucking.

I don’t disagree but the review was mostly dogging on the characters for acting like children. They’re 12, Mark.

It sounds like mark was being unreasonable (fuck mark), but do you guys really not agree with my statement? Why should we be less critical about the art designed for children/teens? I’m not saying all media made for kids should appeal to me, I’m saying bad art shouldn’t be given a pass because is just for kids. I think kids should have good books/shows/movies designed for them.
