I think you can review a DNF with the big asterisk that it was a DNF.

I don’t dnf on purpose, but sometimes I’ll either just forget I’m reading a book or set it down meaning to come back to it later and it just happens. Sometimes I’ll remember and finish it like a month later. I also basically only read a specific sub genre and can usually tell if I’d like a book based on the blurb so I tend to like everything I start even if I forget about it

yeah i'll usually force myself to fully read half of it then skim to rate it, usually the ending isn't worth it though LOL

I think people can give a review on a book with the commentary that they couldn’t finish without rating it, if that makes sense. I’ve had several books go from a 2 star to a 4 star book in the last 20 pages, and thats huge. It’s even more annoying to me when people rate something 1 star and said that they didn’t read past the first 20 pages (in a book that’s at least 300). I’ve run into it so much recently, so I guess it gets on my nerves lol
