Trademarking “Hot Girls Read” is INSANE behavior. That girl is a degenerate.

Ain’t no way that got officially approved…it’s far too common of a phrase and it derives from Hot Girl Summer by Megan Thee Stallion! I hope the counter-trademark for her own business’s name gets approved.

ooh yeah people are not happy with her at all. i don’t agree with coming after people’s looks but given the circumstances, this may be a bit justified 😭

It doesn’t derive from Meg 😭 It’s been popularized since the early 2000s. But yeah, the girl got it approved. Shes’s being sued

It’s “only on certain products”, but the whole decision to trademark it is borderline illegal

Allie Rose Co, she’s a business owner that sells book merch. The funniest (most ridiculous) part about all of this is she’s going after small businesses and making them remove their products while she continues to sell unlicensed merch herself. half her catalog is harry potter and taylor swift, she’s such a hypocrite

She did get it officially approved but the thing is she only gets after certain company’s/small businesses she doesn’t go after everyone who uses that phrase which is very much against her copyright

“which is very much against her copyright” she neither invented nor popularized that phrase…. the fact she trademarked it in the first place shows the only thing she cares about is filling her pockets. idc if she only goes after “certain companies” it’s ridiculous that she has the nerve to go after anyone for a phrase that people have been using longer than she’s been able to read. the reason she’s not going after everyone is because she doesn’t have the resources to enforce the trademark
