My gf and I recently had a conversation about the senses and ranking which ones are most important to us but I could barely do it, I’m way too fortunate and privileged to have my senses i genuinely can’t imagine not being able to see art, hear music, touch, I’m Hispanic I love food like cmon

As someone who went temporarily half deaf in one ear, the realization that if I lose my hearing completely and can’t listen to music anymore lowkey shattered me
