No I was laughing so hard like idk how he didn’t know or why he thought he had to pay for them. So this whole time he thought I was paying to read these books😂 like don’t get me wrong I own a good bit but I also like to read for free 💀

He’s 29 so honestly that might be why he thought you had to rent them. We’re from a small town and I was very little (he’s older) when our movie rental place closed and we loved going there
