Rather than telling you one way or another I’ll just give you the arguments for each: - Reading AB next will give you a better understanding of Celaena’s headspace and the trauma she’s facing at the start of heir of fire - Reading AB after heir of fire makes for greater continuity of plot since a lot of the loose ends in AB aren’t really mentioned in HOF but are essential for QOS

I read AB after crown of midnight and it was perfect. You really really need to read it before Queen of shadows and I guess it could be interchangeable with heir of fire but I’d say finish the assassin celana arc before going to heir of midnight
