anyone have some short (like 200 or less pages) easy reads? i’ve been reading 3-500 page books recently and they’re great but i need the book equivalent of junk food

Read Nothing To See Here by Kevin Wilson! I just read it and it’s the closest thing to a perfect novel I’ve read in a long time. It’s beautiful, short, and totally weird.

If you’re interested in short stories, I recommend: The Lottery by Shirley Jackson, The Hanging Stranger by Philip K. Dick, Jeffty is Five by Harlan Ellison, The Story of an Hour by Kate Chopin, and The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman
