Look, Iโ€™m not normally for pirating books/audiobooks, but the Doctor Who monthly range is the biggest argument in favor of piracy Iโ€™ve ever seen. Roughly $120 ๐˜ฑ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ for the box sets, and we donโ€™t even get to hear them on the radio for free in the US

And yes, I understand that they arenโ€™t the cheapest things to make, especially since a lot of them have their own original music scores and things like that. But still, as Izzy points out, $50 for what amounts to less than 3 hours of stories is a ridiculous price.

And thatโ€™s before you even get into the novelizations of the episodes, although those I donโ€™t mind getting since theyโ€™re cheap on audible.

Mind you, one box set of 3 dramas (45 min each) is often $50 on its own

Right? I wanted to buy The Further Adventures of Lucie Miller when that came out back in 2019, but $50 for a ๐™™๐™ž๐™œ๐™ž๐™ฉ๐™–๐™ก ๐™™๐™ค๐™ฌ๐™ฃ๐™ก๐™ค๐™–๐™™ is insanity. Iโ€™d maybe understand it a little more for the CD version since the box sets look beautiful, but Iโ€™m not even sure if they ship to the US.
