Does Audible count? First time poster to this community. Not really a reader but I am listening to the Heroes of Olympus House of Hades. Listened to the first 6 books of Percy Jackson and then Heroes of Olympus.

It sure does! That’s how people who are visually impaired consume books and we don’t tell them that they don’t read

Of course! You’re still consuming the content just in a different way. Enjoy it how you want to :3. I haven’t tried audible yet but definitely thinking about it

people who use audio books impress me so much, my attention span is horrible when it comes to listening id just forget everything immediately and zone out 😔

My little secret is to read the physical book and the audiobook at the same time. I find it to be super duper immersive. Definitely give that a try if that sounds appealing But to your actual point and what the other comments have said, yes it counts as reading. While not physically “reading” you’re still getting immersed with the characters and story. Absolutely counts as reading it

Thank you 😊 not blind just feel like I can get more of the story through listening to someone else read it. It’s a great tool!

I’ve been trying this a bit with Shakespeare, and it’s been amazing for actually figuring out what the hell is going on
