The horizontal one’s called a snake eyes piercing, and yeah it’s really bad. It might look nice, but at its resting state, it’ll leave you with two metal balls sitting right up against your teeth. At best, it’ll lead to enamel erosion, at worst it’ll lead to enamel erosion, gum erosion, and chipped teeth if you play with it, although regular tongue piercings present that chipping risk too if you play with them
