ATP I think I’m gonna have to invest in a machine to anodize jewelry. 90% of the time when I want jewelry exactly what I want is in silver titanium or gold but surgical steel. And I can’t keep driving an 1hr for the one shop that anodizes near me😖

Tbh im surprised my hometown doesn’t have ONE piercing shop that can anodize jewelry. I’ll ask and they’ll look at me like I just asked for the most banned item on the menu

It’s a process for titanium jewelry to change it from the silver default color to different colors. It basically binds titanium ions w/ oxygen ions onto the metal surface that can reflect different colors depending on the voltage output used from the machine

A good amount of titanium jewelry goes through this process or 1 of 2 other process to change it from silver to whatever color you’re purchasing.
