Eyeliner is a boss battle, do not wear it in public early on. Learn to what compliments your face shape. Determine if cool tone (silver) or warm tone (gold) highlighter works for you. A little highlighter on the bridge of your nose really helps elevate your facial structure. Black mascara doesn’t work for everyone! If it looks jarring, try brown mascara! Neutral pinks for lipstick is your bff

Start VERY SIMPLE with a good “no makeup” makeup look otherwise you’ll look like a toddler playing with her mom’s makeup! Make sure to moisturize your skin and use primer before so you aren’t damaging your skin (I personally use the tiniest bit of Vaseline and the elf power grip primer). Learn your colors and what works with your skin tone so you find what makes glow instead of washing you out or dulling your sparkle ✨ And always remember that you are beautiful 💖

the best advice a mediocre makeup user like me could give you is to just have fun! feel free to explore different styles: clean girl, grungy messy, glam, etc. to really find out not only what looks good, but also what YOU like. dont ever feel like you need to follow whats trending. and there’s no correct way to do it either as makeup is literally an art and a form of expression so everyones is different❤️
