i was wrong about that since it looks like thats thrown around without much citation, but ive been browsing the national library of medicine and am seeing numbers anywhere from 50 to 80%. the diet industry is a multi billion dollar industry that benefits from offloading responsibility onto consumers so its definitely possible theres a lot of wrong info out there
Oh absolutely. These crash diets are always bad, you were on track with the statement of gaining the weight back. Small, slow lifestyle changes are always going to be the most effective. My thing is, nutrition education should be a bigger priority in schools—I mean it should be a requirement like math/science. I truly think it would take America SO FAR if that was the case.
