it’s been really good so far! I have noticed a difference in my hair. Honestly the only people that seem to feel weird are the white women all my black girlies are literally like we been telling y’all about them

Black woman here! Good for you! All hair types can benefit from the extra layer of protection between your hair and the pillow. There’s a difference between trying and embracing something that typically you would see only for others vs making a mockery of it, and it seems you’re not doing the latter. Wear it and let your hair health prosper!

I’m a black woman and unless I’m traveling I don’t wear one cause my pillow shams at home are mulberry silk I’m not fighting to keep that damn thing on my head all night - either one works but depending how long your hair is you may have to style it if using the silk pillowcases

Felt, my pillowcases is silk so usually I don’t fight with it because my hair is to my waist but when I need to especially after I wash my hair and it’s clean, I put it into braids and wrap it around my head and then put it on

Ah yeah that makes sense I have a shaved head so I made the switch to the shams after my big chop keeping a bonnet on was an endless battle I have no energy for honestly might need to get some silk scarves for when I travel but idk I don’t want the headache

I’m white and struggled with my curly hair after sleeping on it bc it turned into a knotty mess and had lots of breakage so i got a silk bonnet abt a year and a half ago and i cannot sleep without it. My hair has been so healthy and grows so fast now. Black women know wtf they’re doing!!

I’ve seen multiple black women on TikTok advocating for all women to get silk bonnets! Hair is hair, anyone can benefit from it. They always recommend a wide band rather than a scrunched band because the wide band doesn’t slip in your sleep. I need to get one but just haven’t gotten around to it
