From someone who had an ed and lost all their hair thickness and a lot of it. Something as simple as a good shampoo (I used Monday hair care, kerstin ess, their not the best but they worked for me, also oaplex shampoo) and a scalp massager they have them on Amazon. I also used oaplex bonding oil on my ends, and oaplex hair perfector in the shower as a hair mask

And maybe get on a daily vitamin. Because that is also what is missing.

red light therapy and scalp massage are some of the best you can do without seeing a dermatologist

There is a new product it is called bond fibers. Amazon has it. I haven't tried it. It washes out. But it gives your hair a thicker appearance. I'm going to get some to try. It is inexpensive. You have to get it to match your hair color though. I saved it i recently found this on a search.

Scalp massages with any specific product or just in general?

I forgot the name til 2 said it. rosemary oil is the best. You could get a scalp massager but that's not super necessary.

yes if you’re not getting enough food or nutrients while losing weight. it’s mostly talked about with those who have lost weight from an ed or had bariatric surgery as with those situations you’re eating way less than normal so you don’t get enough nutrients

Big time. I got tested and found at that there’s a level of iron and ferritin clinically bad, and I only had half of that. One month on the ferritin and vitamin supplements and I already see a massive amount of regrowth. 😭🤙 I’d get blood tested, as odd as that sounds.

Yeah, For me I didn’t take supplements when I was skinny and although I have been on the slim end my whole life, my hair still shed drastically when I lost weight from exercising but not eating a nutrient rich diet which would compensate for that. In the end I gained enough weight for my hair to look thick and healthy again. I also don’t experience frizz or dryness anymore.

And a diet with a lot of variety is very important for people who want to lose weight in order to get all the nutrients if they aren’t taking all the supplements that they need. But if they aren’t eating that food then those supplements are the only way they’re going to be getting those nutrients. Food is fuel and I guess a lot of people forget that.

Like these hair oils or expensive treatments and products aren’t going to do anything in the long run if your diet is lacking.
